River City Software LLC was founded in 1995.

Our products include Tally systems and Web based inventory solutions for the hardwood lumber industry.

Our extensive work in digital imaging led to the creation of PictureTally^TM. PictureTally utilizes digital photography to generate fast, accurate lumber tallies. The system provides hardwood lumber manufacturers with full lumber bundle details and yields vital information for sales teams. Learn more about PictureTally.

We teamed up with hardwood lumber industry veterans to create an easy-to-use web site for viewing lumber details. Built on the latest Microsoft® .NET technology and Microsoft SQL Server; our system runs as a web site, integrating seamlessly with our PictureTally product. Learn more about the PictureTally Viewer. The PictureTally system also integrates with many Lumber inventory systems.

In addition to our forestry products, River City Software provides software and systems consulting services for industrial applications.
