History

Founded in 1995 by Scott Marcus and Anthony Berke, River City Software began as a select group of senior level software professionals.

We remain committed to providing highly experienced professionals in both our consulting services and in our Forestry Products group.

Management Team

Anthony Berke, Founder and Principal Engineer
Tony BerkeTony is an industry veteran with over 20 years in software development.  He has led development efforts and shipped many commercial products in the areas of: digital imaging, real-time production facility frameworks, megapixel camera control systems, legacy system migrations, multi-threaded process automation systems, graphical user interfaces and real-time imaging for Doppler Weather Radar.  He serves as technical lead, mentor and chief scientist for clients with complex software challenges.  Tony received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of New Hampshire.

Richard Fafard, Vice President of Sales
Richard FafardRick Fafard joins River City Software with a history of leading teams of professionals in software product definition and development. Rick brings the experience of 19 years in companies such as IBM, Tivoli Systems, Cabletron, Andover Controls and several private and venture funded startups. Rick possesses a unique blend of technical skills combined with marketing and sales experience – resulting in the ability to quantify then clearly define and deliver what provides value to the customer.
